"The Magical World of Robi Rubens" is the collection of twenty drawings.
The style is based on the idea of a fusion between Japanese woodblock print and medieval illuminations.
As both of these are using ornaments, symbols and expression in narration, for me such a conjunction seemed perfectly natural.
The further upgrade is an effort to implement as much other art styles such as art deco, suprematism, naive, children drawings...
The collection exists in two separate directions.
In a gallery, the works are posted as a square in an attempt to isolate the opserver in to the Rubens world.
Out of a gallery they exist as separated pieces of a serigraphy edition - posters.
Technique - Ink on paper (on several places collage and tempera are added) Dimesion - 100x70cm
